When
a person inhales air through your nose also inhale all the airborne where
larger particles are trapped by the nose hair staying stuck in the mucus layer
overlying particles; therefore it is not recommended to completely remove nose
hair for any reason.
The
nose hair also serves to moisten inhaled air as the air when it passes through
the nasal cavities and through the hairs due to mucus raises the temperature
and humidifies the air.
Moisture
is very important for the rest of the respiratory system, such as the larynx
and lungs; if these structures can collapse and dry breathing difficult.
Meanwhile
the smallest hair acts as cilia pushing solid particles toward the end of the
throat to be swallowed for filtering said air continues to the larynx and
trachea.
Excess
nose hair is often considered aesthetically unpleasant but nevertheless, it
should never be completely eliminated, note that those who do may become more
susceptible to developing allergies or suffer more frequent and severe allergic
attacks if they are already allergic also increases the likelihood of sinusitis
or respiratory infections.
NOTE:
Older people should minimize cutting nose hair with manual
nose hair trimmer on them as hair growth is much slower and take longer
to again reach the right size.
The
ear hair serve the same purpose of filtering the air and both tend to grow more
abundantly as they get older.
