Holographic Nails: The latest in Nail Art Trends

We are many who like to wear long nails and adapt to the latest trends. And this season, one of those trends in Nail art that has caught our attention thanks to the likes of Rihanna or Kylie Jenner with fluorescent nail polish, are the holographic nails or holographic nails. What is this trend that looks like a Star Wars movie?

The holographic nails have a metallic finish with 'watery' effect. Depending on the light that impinges on the nail, it produces a visual effect as a lightning. This effect is achieved with a special product that we apply to the nail, in the form of powder with iridescent pigments. To get the metallic finish you will have to go to any store and ask for enamel powder and cheap acrylic nail kits, which is very similar to an eye shadow. This technique is not complicated to do, you only need to choose a color enamel to apply on your nails and a little skill in painting your nails. Once you have clear the color you want for the base, apply it on your nails and apply a layer of enamel fixative afterwards to make sure the enamel is well adhered. Then we recommend that you let dry thoroughly, and later apply the powder with a brush or a sponge similar to that of the eye shadows. Iridescent shine is achieved by expanding the iridescent pigments of the powder through the nail.
